Monsieur Sukram is a francophone singer-songwriter based in Berlin. He performs self-reflective songs on ukulele and piano that explore inner emotions with vivid imagery. He also leads LES RICOCHETS, a French-speaking punk-rock collective founded on the philosophy of ricochets: like a stone skimming over water, you never know whether it will make seven jumps or sink at once — the only certainty is surprise. In this spirit, genres, instruments, and ideas collide and rebound, creating a joyful chaos that transforms into a danceable mix somewhere between gypsy jazz, beat numbers, and punk rock. Singing in French, LES RICOCHETS weave playful reflection into their lyrics, even asking in their song Je me promène how best to navigate life and love: perhaps by asking ChatGPT, or maybe a psychologist. I'm originally from Turkey and currently living in Berlin, where I'm pursuing a Master's degree in Data Analytics after completing my Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering. Alongside my studies, I've always been passionate about the arts. I play classical guitar, have trained in hip-hop and salsa, and performed in a musical during university. I also enjoy writing about emotions and stories. My biggest inspirations are people, life experiences, and discovering new places, all of which shape the way I express myself creatively.

I grew up in a suburb near Toronto, Canada. I was a shy kid and often struggled to express myself. Recently, I’ve developed a more adventurous side, driven by curiosity across different creative disciplines, including improv and stand-up comedy. Having spent the past couple of years focused on triathlon and ultra running, I now bring that same drive and discipline into my artistic pursuits. Now I’m committed to honing my craft and creating a stage presence that’s engaging, enjoyable, and entertaining.
