This intermediate workshop picks up where the beginner session left off. In 75 minutes, DNA. Member CZECH STRINGS takes You straight into the practical side; no theory recap, no equipment walkthrough. If You know how to beatmatch and You've made Your first transition, You're ready for this.

The focus is hands-on from the start.

Everyone works closely around the decks together with CZECH STRINGS. The session is shaped around the music You bring and where You're at. Expect to actually mix, not just watch.

WE WILL WORK ON:

- Advanced mixing techniques — including hot cues, EQ mixing, and longer more controlled transitions
- Harmonic mixing — using key compatibility and track selection to make Your sets sound more musical
- Your own music — learning to work with the tracks You actually play and building confidence behind the decks

EQUIPMENT:

We’ll be working with a Pioneer DJ XDJ-RR, which can be used with USB sticks and Rekordbox.

WHAT YOU NEED:

Nothing is required. If You'd like to bring Your own music on a USB stick, You're welcome to, but it will only work if the stick is formatted as MS-DOS (FAT) / FAT32 and the tracks have been analysed in Rekordbox beforehand. If that means nothing to You right now, don't worry. There's plenty of music ready to go.
